Ingredients
- 12 ounces linguine
- ¼ cup mayonnaise
- 2 tablespoon chili paste
- 2 cloves garlic, crushed
- ¾ pound shrimp, peeled
- ¼ teaspoon salt
- ⅛ teaspoon cayenne pepper
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 tablespoon vegetable oil
- 1 lime peel zested
- ¼ cup green onion, chopped
- ¼ cup cilantro, minced
- red chili flakes, for garnish
Instructions
- Cook pasta al dente according to box instructions.
- In a small bowl, combine mayonnaise, chili paste and garlic. Whisk to combine. Set aside.
- In a mixing bowl, add shrimp, salt, cayenne and garlic powder. Stir to coat shrimp.
- Heat oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Add shrimp and cook for about 2 minutes then flip and cook for an additional 2 minutes. Add pasta and sauce to the pan.
- Turn off the heat and mix together until pasta is coated.
- Add lime, green onions and cilantro, and garnish with red chili flakes.
