Ingredients:
- 1 Tbsp. Vanilla Extract
- 1 quart Half and Half
- 1 quart Whole Milk
- 1 ½ cup Sugar
- 1 cup High Quality Cocoa
- 2 – 3 heaping Tbsp. Corn Starch
- 1 Bar Scharffen Berger Pure Dark Chocolate (9.7 oz)
- 1 pint Whipping Cream
Instructions:
- Scald the milk and half and half.
- Melt chocolate in double broiler.
- Mix scalded liquid with dry ingredients.
- Add melted chocolate to warm mixture. Add vanilla.
- Return to low heat and stir until very gloppy.
- Transfer to goblets and cover with tea towel and place in cool area.
- Just prior to serving add whipped cream.
