Ingredients
- ⅓ cup soy
- 2 tablespoons honey
- ¼ teaspoons cinnamon
- 1 tablespoon sesame oil
- 2 tablespoons chopped sweet onion
- 6-8 boneless skinless chicken thighs sliced into ¼ inch strips
- 15 bamboo skewers
- Rice for four if served as a meal
- 3 tablespoons sesame seeds
Instructions
- In a large bowl combine the first 5 ingredients and stir well.
- Skewer the chicken slices onto the bamboo sticks and place into a zip lock bag. Pour the marinade into the bag and place in refrigerator for one hour (or overnight).
- Remove the chicken skewers from zip lock bag and discard the remaining marinade. Sprinkle the sesame seeds over the chicken and grill over a medium fire for four minutes per side (or until cooked through). Serve warm or at room temperature as an appetizer or with rice as a meal.
Notes
- You can also serve this as an appetizer hot, warm or at room temperature.
